Responding to Mobile Device Vulnerabilities using Cogmotive's Mobile Device Reports
In 2014, a vulnerability was discovered in iOS 7.0.6, affecting iPhones, iPads and other Apple Mobile devices. The GOTO FAIL bug could allow an attacker to intercept encrypted communications. This has the potential to expose sensitive company information, with catastrophic consequences.
One organisation affected by this bug turned to Cogmotive Office 365 Reports to help them deal with this problem. They were able to respond quickly and efficiently by using Cogmotive to identify which mobile devices their employees were using, and the current OS, to pinpoint the specific devices that could be affected.
